Boy, I hope my memory is right on this, but if I recall it was at a ceremony concerning the nomination of Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the Supreme Court. Brit asked a question on another subject, and Clinton got all weepy. It wasn't a full fledged bawl, but he did tear up. Inspectorette and faithincowboys, do you remember more specifics. I just mainly remember the weepy part.

I thought it could have been about Zoe Baird and the general bad start he had. I could be wrong. I think Brit asked one of those questions like, "Hey Mutt, is your administration in total disarray or what?"

Clinton got all puffed up and slammed Hume for bringing up wheatever it was at Ginsburg's annoucement/ceremony.

It was when Clinton was avoiding the press.

RE: Clinton crying--I was really hoping Brit made him see the error of his ways and he was weeping out of disgust for himself . . . or pain!

Ah, found it. It was the Bader nomination, but faithincowboys was right about the question. Brit essentially asked Clinton why he had taken so long to nominate Ginsburg, and why he chose her.

I remember the Clinton/Hume interchange at the Bader-Ginsburg event. Brit asked the first question and I don't recall tears--Clinton got MAD. Like a little kid having a tantrum mad, not manly mad (natch). It was creepy--the public mask slipped.
