Jane attended her daughter's funeral when Maureen died of cancer in 1991.

She didn't die in 1991. It was 2001.

Remember during the 2000 Florida zoo, Shep was arrested for running into/over a female newsie who was standing in his parking space?

Are you drunk? Shep just delivered a BEAUTIFUL commentary about Reagan. I have been watching ALL day and he never, not once, said "he wasn't so great". You obviously hate Shep. But, don't report this he did not say.

I'm just shaking my head here. We can take comfort that their ratings are in the gutter.....right alongside of their principles.

Interesting the comparison between networks. MSNBC focusing of the solemn aspects of the day. CNN interviewing people in shorts in lawnchairs at the community college where the shuttle busses depart from. Can't find Honor Guard, Nancy, Arnie anywhere on CNN.

I feel like I've gone over to the enemy for news reports, when I check what CNN's up to. World class A-holes.

Yes, he and Maria stood with the first group to get in; even CNN said he asked for no special viewing.

Watching CNN makes my teeth hurt. Must be the clenched jaw.

Occasionally it's interesting to see what the enemy is up to, but they've become so stereotypical that I could write their coverage in my sleep.

The full front picture of her laying her head on that casket is just devastating.

Agreed, I appreciate you fellow freepers allowing me to keep up. I am working today and seeing it in real time isn't possible.

Still photographs are much more impactful many times. I know hear heart is both broken and happy. She will miss him but I know she rejoices that he is freed from the prison that has held him the past 10 years.
