Air Force Chaplain (Capt.) Hamza Al-Mubarak, an imam based at Ramstein Air Base, testified for the defense that Webster had done the right thing.
Enuff said.

Gioia also said some soldiers had reservations of deploying with Webster, who converted to Islam in 1994 after returning from Operation Desert Storm.I wonder how many GIs will be returning from Iraq as Jihadi sleepers...

Isn't this against the UCMJ? A chaplain, an officer, encouraging a soldier to refude a lawful order?
Any thoughts out there?

True BELIEVING MUSLIMS should NOT be allowed to enter the armed forces, CIA, FBI and there should be NO MUSLIM Chaplins either. It makes no sense, for all true Muslims must refuse to take up arms against fellow Muslims.

I doubt there will be an official policy against Muslim chaplains in the American military any time soon, but everyone knows who they are and where their real loyalties lie. The result of this can only be good for America.

"I would not say he's an extremist," Al-Mubarak testified during cross-examination. "He was adhering to the sincere advice of the scholars. It is not permissible for him to take up arms and kill another Muslim.I guess there is a collateral damage waiver in the Koran..

Technically, he's not encouraging, just agreeing with the offbase imams this douchebag consulted. Which is a fudge, but then islamis are good, excellent, in fact at that.
I guess our Afghani allies and Iraqi police and Algerian soliders are all bad muslims when they kill jihadis.
What's more shameful and disgusting than him asserting that is our meek acceptance of this bullcrap.

Isn't this against the UCMJ? A chaplain, an officer, encouraging a soldier to refude a lawful order? Questionable conduct at best. This "imam" needs to be shown the door as well.

Agreed, most serving personnel must be rather wary after all these stories and incidents. That, as you say, is very very good.
Plus, it's a load of BS. Muslims all over world fight other muslims, and some, like in the Indian Army have actively participated in killing jihadis.
AS if muslim countries have never fought wars with each other.
To: PISANO
I agree with keeping the vermin out of our military, but as far as the 'noids not killing each other, that didn't seem to get much traction during the Iran-Iraq war.
Kinda like we shouldn't bomb the turban'd turds during the holy-holy-holy time of Ramadan.
Yeah, right. Stinking ragheads.

It seems, there have been reports of a coordinated Saudi campaign to convert Americans during Desert Storm.
Tinfoilly, but IMO McVeigh was a convert (i know, tangential.

"It is not permissible for him to take up arms and kill another Muslim."
But it is ok to take up arms against the infidels....like the ones in your unit.

If nothing else conclusively proves that Islam is imcompatible with American values and that Muslims have no place in the U.S. Military, this does.

Now if they will just execute the one who did deploy...and then attacked his own on the night before the advance, killing Major Stone.
