Pat Boone giving an interview on Linda Vester's Dayside.

He is saying that CBS's showing the Iraqi prison pix and the person(s) taking classifed information and broadcasting it is treasonous.

Good interview going on now. (FoxNews channel)

The guy was hog tied all through the Clinton years and wasn't allowed to "offend" Americas enemies. Now, those same people who stopped him from fighting terrorism are trying to blame him for the attacks. Sheesh!
Oh well, Bush should have booted him out along with all the Clinton waste. That's what Bush gets for being too nice to losers.

Tenet said this in 2002:

"We are in this for a long time, because the threat environment we find ourselves in today is as bad as it was last summer -- the summer before 9/11. They intend to strike this homeland again. We better get about the business of putting the right structure in place as fast as we can."

Knowing this he should not have resigned. Or maybe knowing this and knowing he was ineffectual at the CIA helm he should have resigned. Either way, the Prez got his way in this resignation.

Haven't conservatives said in the past that one of Bush's qualities was that he surrounded himself with very good advisors? What was so bad about Tenet?

It looks like George Tenet woke up one morning, looked into his kid's eyes and realized he had missed years of his child's life.....

I've seen that look, and it can change how you feel about things....

Tenet was responsible for an agency that had to sift through millions of dossiers of islamic lies, bull, disinformation and treachery.

He also had to rely on muslims to do this for him.

Till we replace our islamic majority cadres with non regional non muslims, our intelligence service would never be able to perform, regardless of who chairs it.

how can you expect results when you employ a faction of your enemy to work for you.

it is made more difficult by the fact that our interests are served by undoing islamic countries, religion and and people. It is a mistake on our part to expect muslims to undo their countries and religion for us.

we need to replace the muslims with non muslims, only retaining muslims where absolutely necessary.

Tenet is a great man. He has always put his country before his personal interests.

he has tried perform miracles for america, while working with an army of islamists

give the guy his due.

he's refined, humane, selfless, intelligent and above all a patriot.

i can't think of a finer person than him.

it would be a terrible loss to the agency in my opinion.

These days, where puppets are the rule

it's hard to find people, who'd stand up for their conscience, put their country before their personal interests, and take the fall for justice

Tenet is a rare kind these days. The very noblest of men.

Funny how all the news outlets are announcing this resignation as if it were out of guilt for "faulty intelligence" about Iraq. As far as I'm concerned, they're faulting him for not building the intelligence establishment into a kingdom after Klinton utterly gutted their budget and had them working on anything but national security issues.

WTF too late. Look at the garbage this idiot was supporting under clinton - you remember it now. Anyone who is running a national security type organization and doesn't push back on this kind of nonsense should have resigned the moment his support of this garbage was found out.
