This friend of yours who went to Hiroshima. Did he suffer any long term effects of radiation?

Not that I could tell. I just spoke with my old administrative assistant about 3 weeks ago. Gritzner finally decided to retire.

My dad's big military exploit came as the gunnery officer in charge of the port 5 inch battery on the U.S.S. Iowa. His crew wiped out the North Korean winter ammo supplies at Wonsan Harbor on Sept 23, 1952.

You tell your dad I said "Thank You...and God Bless." My wife's uncle was a Korean War MIA. He never came home. He's still MIA. I just wrote a screenplay on his story. My agent says thing's seem to be looking good. Anyway, tell your dad that although Korea is the "forgotten war," many still remember.
