Unitary, or "mixed" SARIN gas warheads have a general shelf life of approx. 6 years..

However, Binary, or containerized seperate component SARIN or VX type warheads can be stored indefinitely..
That is to say, a SARIN binary warhead created in the 1950's would still be good today..

Why is it taking until today for the Bush administration to report that mustard gas was found in Iraq two weeks ago?

I will note this was a binary round.
