The only suggestion I'd offer is NOT to waste your effrots on those beyond a certain age, say 40..the brain is already totally indoctrinated by then...It's the youth that we have to work on..

I'll never forget my oldest daughter..She'd worked since she was 13..first babysitign for the neighbors, then as a nanny..always paid cash..in HS and first two summers of college..she worked in my office..I wrote her a check..summer of her junior year, she takes a job as an intern in the town Hall for 6 weeks..It paid less than I was giving her, but she wanted it on her resume for grad school..she knew whather hourly rate ws..and the number of hours..she would be paid once, at the end of the summer..that's how the town does it..to simplify their payroll..she knew she'd earned $2300, and she'd planned on havng that to spend..well my secretary breaks into a meeting, says my daughter's on the phone, and she MUT speak with me..I ake the call, figuring something bad has happened.."WHAT THE F**k IS FICA AND FWH?..."..I couldn't stop laughing for ten minutes..Her check was 2/3's of what she was expecting..we had a long talk/explanation that night.and that's how you create a clife-long conservative..

Oh, I don't try to change the minds of the uncouth, who feel no shame at saying terrible things about our president to me. I just say "I don't feel the same way as you do about that, and I really would appreciate it, if you would not make those remarks in front of me." Sort of making it a workplace "issue" in pc talk. Then if they want to talk specifics I will, but usually they just shut up, and soon other people give a secret high-sign that they are closet conservatives, too.

Just like Rush tapped into a nation-wide group of disenfranchised conservatives when he went national, I believe that there are a lot more conservative people around, who just think they are an anomaly. I like to encourage them not to cede the "accepted wisdom" to the left.
