"He has to go. Nothing, I think, less will suffice," Harkin told CNN. "It's not enough just for Secretary Rumsfeld to say that some people in the lower ranks are responsible for this -- this goes all the way up."

What a twit! The only way Rumsfeld is RESPONSIBLE for it is if he ordered that the prisoners be treated that way. Since he didn't, he isn't responsible for the abuse, only the follow-up once it was discovered. However, he certainly SHOULD have let the President know about the investigation before the pictures were released so he wouldn't be caught flat-footed about it! I believe The President called Rumsfeld 'on the carpet', literally, in the Oval Office about it earlier this week.

well, given that the pics were "leaked", does that change things. This is an attack on Rummy just as there are attacks on Condi and Cheney. They want to destroy Bush's team and therefore destroy Bush. That is the gameplan and if they hurt us and the war and our soldiers in the process,,they just don't care.

IIRC, yesterday on Brit Hume's show they were discussing the Army report. Apparently there were no pictures that Rumsfeld could have been aware of included in the report.
