"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"

Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

Coast Guard prepares for terrorist threat
By Michael Fabey
Savannah Morning News

Freighter hijackings and terrorist swimmers are among key concerns of the U.S. Coast Guard as it prepares to secure area waterways for the upcoming G-8 Sea Island Summit, according to agency briefing papers prepared late last week.

The documents provide a list of potential threats after warning: "Terrorist scenarios are receiving attention at all levels."

Feared actions include:

* Executing a USS Cole-type incident, which took place in 2000, when terrorists blew a hole in the hull of a Navy ship in the Middle East;

* Grounding vessels;

* Taking control of a vessel and steering it into a protected zone;

* Swimming across the Savannah River to gain access to the press center and dignitary area;

* Blocking a deep-draft vessel;

* Using divers to plant explosives on a dock or a pier;

* Boarding vessels and draping banners;

* Creating anarchy on the waterfront.

Grounding a vessel or steering it to the security zones would be a classic move by terrorists, according to Steven C. Bronson, a retired Navy boatswain mate chief.

....

... tactics and techniques.

They use all of this as a diversion," Bronson said. "They'll ... draw all the attention and fire to one spot, while the real attack will be at another location."
....

The Coast Guard briefing papers warn against taking the threats too lightly – as was the case, the agency argues, with the World Trade Organization about five years ago: "One of the major issues with the WTO at Seattle is that they ignored early, consistent intelligence."

And, according to the Coast Guard, the intelligence warrants concern, saying there are "strong indications" for protests in Sea Island and Savannah. Although Coast Guard officials estimate the potential for as many as 1,000 "violent" protesters, other official projections have varied widely.

http://www.savannahnow.com/stories/051104/LOC_roughseas.shtml

They say it's unfair that G-8 activists are often generically portrayed as young, unwashed loud-mouths with a penchant for destruction.

In truth, they say, being loud is about the worst thing they can be accused of.

That's because what they really want is to be heard, especially by the heads of state and lawmakers who seem so adamantly opposed to considering their way of thinking.

....

But if you listen closely to them, a common theme you'll hear is that the G-8 nations form a coercive block of power dominated by capitalism and military might.

Q. Are you dismissive of the protesters?

A. No. And it shouldn't be forgotten that there are such things as angry kids ready to do a bit of trashing, or at lot of trashing.

Too many different people are protesting too many different things for too many different reasons -- which themselves make varying amounts of sense.

RDU TERMINAL EVACUATED:

Bomb threat earlier today at RDU caused evacuation of terminal. Not sure if it was just AA or entire airport but I know AA terminal was evacuated for sure. Wonder if it makes the news.

THANKS.

I hope the protests of the G-8 and the follow-on globalist gov folks will become louder.

I don't support mayhem and chaos. But screaming about the looming global gov tyranny is at least fitting, it seems to me.

Will be interesting to see what will happen on the terror threat front. It FEELS like we are increasingly vulnerable and on the edge of SOMETHING.

Maybe it's just my . . . routine 'paranoia.'

Well, what do you know? This may be a first? I also hope CAIR spreads itself around on every tv station to denounce this....

Nope, Donna. A moslem's word cannot be taken at face value.

They have this lovely little tactic called al taqqiya which means they are allowed to lie as much as they need to, to advance the cause of islam.

And if any moslem apologist is lurking on this thread, I don't want to hear about how this is only practiced by whichever it is, either Suni or Shiite. That may have been the case once, but I wouldn't put it past any one of them to use the same tactic no matter which sect they belong to.

I will never believe a moslem, never. Not about anything. That goes also for the traitors at CAIR, some of whom are American turncoats.

500 young men in or near the Olympic games is scary.

You have to wonder if the boat is part of OBL's Navy?

When I think 'ship', I see a metal vessel, but forget that there are millions of wooden ships.

Glad you posted this article and yes, I am behind all of you, but I will get there.

If nothing else, all of you read this post carefully and keep in mind, that its twin will be pulling into a port near you, any day now.

Does anyone else have a sick feeling of dread for tonight into tomorrow? Perhaps it's the decapitation by the islamonazis and also remembering how they gang raped Jessica and broke her limbs.
I also had another bad dream...about an airplane crash this time...sheesh...
We need to exterminate this evil from the face of the earth before it exterminates us. The demons are swarming and I can feel their presence outside, but not where I am. There is warfare in heaven tonight.

[ok, please don't go thinking i've lost my marbles!!]

re:#3592

This is no surprise, the world has come first, over our mineral rights for the last 50 years, that I know about.

In the 50's lots of small mines were mining Manganese, it was simple enough to work that a few men could make a living, then I think it was Russia that started shipping it into the U.S. and starved our miners out.

This is only a sample.

If you want to know about our minerals in the west, find an old State Minerals map, that shows where known mineral deposits are, then layer a "Wilderness Area" map over it and
you will have the mineral deposits withdrawn, and hidden under the Wilderness act.

Not only that but it is fenced, and in some areas, walking has been stopped, in all the areas, vehicles are stopped.

But built into the Wilderness Law, is a wee little escape clause for the "big guys", That says after 20 years, you can hire a lawyer and petition Congress to get a selected area out of the Wilderness area, so it can be mined.

Can you spell "shaft the little man, only the big shall rule"?

Sorry, I have been to the meetings on this, not just mining, they took back whole subdivisions, that had been sold and folks had built homes on, (not waterfront, but had a view of Lake Mead)called it wilderness, and I didn't shoot anyone that night, there were several groups at that meeting,, all
grabbing land.

Bureau of Land (BLM)
Federal Parks Dept.
State Parks Dept.
that group that is to manage rivers, I keep thinking the Army Corp of Engineers, the fact that they were setting up a wilderness area, blew my mind.

Of course, I consider them all to be communists.

Savannah Morning News

The G-8

The United States, France, United Kingdom (comprised of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), Germany, Japan, Italy, Canada and Russia.

....

World War II forced a great rethinking of how global powers interact.

Nations, and the big businesses that affect their decisions, had a growing need to invest resources beyond traditional borders.

That fit nicely with peace planning.

Bluntly put, nations bound by economic interests, it was realized, were less likely to destroy each other.

"Globalization was adopted for essentially political reasons because the nation-state, as exemplified most perfectly by Hitler's Germany, had become simply too dangerous," according to Westbrook.

The Group of Eight, or G-8, is a good example of his reasoning.

Countries that were enemies during World War II have been folded into the group. And Russia, this country's former Cold War nemesis, is slowly gaining full participation rights as a member.

And to continue my 'rant'........

It is said that we should not be concerned that in the mid 1980's over 63 % of our farm land was owned by other countries........

We do almost no mining in the U.S. today.

I have been told that this is good, as the minerals will last longer in the ground (as will the oil).

They also say that if the President decides to do so he can
erase all foreign ownership of land in the U.S. with the stroke of a pen.........................

Do you think kerry and his commie pals will ever sign that law??????

Bomb squad blows up suspicious package found near Reno hospital

It's back to business as usual at Washoe Medical Center, but that certainly wasn't the case Tuesday morning when part of the building was evacuated after a suspicious package was found by employees.

The package was left in front of the Plaza Building around 9:00 AM, and Reno police say it was the third package of it's kind left at the hospital over the past few weeks.

A section of the building was evacuated and members of the Reno Police Explosive Ordinance Detail were called in. The bomb squad removed the package from the building using the Andros Robot and detonated it on the east side of the complex.

Police say they found two very small animals, which appeared to have been dead for some time, and a note inside the package.

No one was injured and police do not have any conclusive evidence that links the three packages together.

Anyone feel similar?

Of course I do. Makes me wonder why our media (gleerfully gathering ratings showing the abuse photos) doesn't show the pictures the Iraqis are deliriously mass producing. If they're going to show the atrocities in Iraq, then show BOTH SIDES of the horrific story. Show the body on the bridge and let Americans see how far PC behavior gets us in Iraq. Make sure they know each and every one of our troops has this kind of fate awaiting them if they make one wrong move or happen to be kidnapped. Let them know we still have care workers and contractors risking their lives to help these people who would just as soon behead us as breath. Won't happen - because our media is beside itself trying to get Kerry elected. The truth is buried in the BS of the slanted news the liberals want to hear. Lives are on the line and those who can minimize the effect or do damage control have personal political agendas to pander.

AAAh yes, the terrorist porn photos, do you think the woman in the last 2 pictures is the same one we saw yesterday from the 9-11 photos with her mouth open?

Don't you love all those brave terrorists, wearing the black hoods.

really, why did they get so upset, when made to wear hoods for the prison photos, they always wear them while killing us.

I share your feeling of dread Indie. I've felt extremely anxious for the past couple of days now.
My son shared something with me today that absolutely floored me. He doesn't dream a lot or doesn't remember them but he told me that in the past week he's been having many many dreams involving my father (who passed over in 1998). He said that Dad keeps telling him Ezekiel, Ezekiel.
Needless to say, we're heavily in prayer.
