I understand your sentiments... but I am opposed to getting our young men killed. There is no reason. We should either bomb them until they surrender, or we should come home and shut up about it.

Let me ask you this... how many young men and women do we lose before you agree that we should bring them home, one way or the other. Or do you have a number that is to many?

On the outside of things, I agree - we need to do this thing or come home.

Having said that, I'm sure the issues are far more complex than you or I understand.

The U.S. military is walking a very fine line between taking care of this small band of insurgents, and doing something that pushes a large portion of the Iraqi population toward resenting us.

In addition, there are relationships with other Muslim countries that have to be taken into account.

I'm glad I'm not the one having to bear the weight of these decisions.
