Also, One has to remember that Mohammed was an illiterate, idiot. Like Lenin,and so many other so-called great thinkers who came later, he was supported by his wife so he could contemplate his higher thoughts.
It is also necessary to remember that since he was illiterate, he couldn't write. Others did his writing for him.

Not only was Muhammad not able to read or write, but nobody anywhere wrote down anything about him or Islam for 3 generations after his death, and after Islam had conquered everything from Southern Spain to India. These pirates weren't keen on scholarship.
The Quran was first written down in Baghdad 200 years after Muhammad died.
