Carmina Burana; O Fortuna! was at the top of my list too....:))
[it's also great for laughs when you pull alongside of somebody playing their subsonic rap, full blast]

I've listened to Wagner's Ring of the Nibelung and Hall Of The Mountain King (Edvard Grieg) from the Peer Gynt Suite when driving, as well.

[but usually, it's just Jethro Tull on the CD]

The Passion soundtrack is great for night driving on a lonely road.

A now defunct 80s hair band, but Savatage has some good renditions of that kind of stuff.

"The Passion soundtrack is great for night driving on a lonely road."

Try Bloodrock's "DOA" on an isolated road ...

Hall Of The Mountain King (Edvard Grieg)

Probably one of the most manic pieces of music I've ever listened to. Like many of the others on this thread, I find Carmina Burana quite "invigorating" too; I've called it "Conan Music" since I first heard it (I recently saw it performed live in Huntsville -- brought tears to my eyes).
