I have heard that Saddam Hussein had Sadr's father murdered. Well, so much for the old saying that the enemy of my enemy is my friend, i.e., the United States deposed Saddam Hussein, ergo: The United States is the enemy of Saddam Hussein, therefore since Saddam Hussein is the enemy of Sadr, the United States is friend of Sadr.
Sadr is an unmitigated bastard. May his death come soon, and I don't care if it is a long lingering painful death or one in which he is blown apart. But I would like to see the United States capture him and have a summary court martial, then stand him up against the wall of a mosque he used as a refuge, and execute him by firing squad.

Intellectual Dishonesty Siren!!!!!!That's not Saddam's legacy. Sadr would be inserted into a plastic shredder if Hussein was still calling the shots.
Not to split hairs, but so far... Sadr is President Bush's potential legacy.
Not worried however, since I am a Prez's biggest fan and am confident he'll end up in a spider hole (or worse) just like Saddam.

I second that amen. Good work, Linda! I always look forward to your wonderful cartoons. Thanks for keeping me pinged!

Actually, that picture is flattering. Sadr's a little fatty who looks like he's never done a hard day's work in his life.

I was really hoping this was a War on Terror and Syria/Iran (states allowing terrorists and troops to join the terrorists/enemy soldiers already fighting in Iraq) would quickly be next. They obviously decided to slow us down in Iraq to keep the heat off of them. For now I pray...
