Thanks. As someone who is a caregiver for a family member with neurological problems, I just ask for a little compassion. It's not bed of roses, nobody asks to suffer in this way, nobody asks for this cross to carry. And to get scorn and derision instead of some pity just twists the knife. Not you, I just mean society generally.

Just sad all the way around, for everybody.

And it makes copwork harder in the most vital area of copwork, you know, that part that concerns trying to separate real wrongdoers from real victims....

But it's part of being human, and we have to take it as it really is. People do act out. The brain does misfire.

The next Elizabeth Smart, though, will be that much more maligned. :-(

God bless you and your son...gotta say though, in some ways Aspies are luckier than the rest of us.
