What garbage. I have a concealed carry permit here in Colorado and have been pulled over. The police when they run the license plate can tell that I have a permit. They usually just cautiously walk up, confirm that I am a permit holder, and then usually just continue on with giving the warning, writing a ticket or whatever. I just place my hands on the steering wheel and keep calm, friendly and cooperative. It's no big deal at all. Any officer who reacted as described in the article would be woefully unfit for duty, unprofessional and extremely uneducated. Whether they like it or not those who conceal carry are among the most law abiding citizens on the planet and the police know that. Geez, what dribble comes out of some peoples paranoid and delusional minds.

In Michigan, it's recommended that if/when stopped for whatever that you include your concealed pistol license in the documents you provide to the officer and that you also tell the officer whether or not you are carrying.

(2 million defensive gun uses a year. Tell that to the Gun Fairy who'd rather leave you toothless.)
