Try different store brands. Hunts sucks but some of the store brands are pretty good. Unfortunately some of them are actually made in the Heinz factories. But at least their name brand will suffer. They make a lot more profit on the name brands than the generic labels. They at least have to share the profits with the stores.
BTW have you tried Malt Vinegar?

I agree with Marlowe. Albertson's brand ketchup is yummy--a little spicy. Really good!

I could do without their ketchup, but their cocktail sauce is bar none...
Nothin goes better with fresh fried crappie than Heinz' spicy cocktail sauce...
