CNN ^ | March 12, 2004

Posted on 03/12/2004 8:23:06 PM PST by thecabal

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- This week's deadly train bombings in Spain will not lead to a rise in the U.S. color-coded terror threat alert system, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman said Friday.

"Based on the current intelligence, we have no specific indicators that terrorist groups are considering such an attack in the U.S. in the near term," said department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse.

I have been musing on the question of the disappearing earthquake.
1. perhaps an artifact, or human caused signal, a scree-whoop
of some type like dropping a coffee cup on the seismograph.
2. a really big mine collapse(so where is the EPA and other well meaning govt. agencies?)
3. a proactive event by our side(but those folks don't have the huevos for something like that)
4. first in a series?
As far as tinfoil goes, how about the chemtrails being a defense against the woodpecker, jamming the signal and such.
As far as Bass Ale on tap, bring it on!! Takes me back to my misspent youth(actually, never regretted a drop) We WILL prevail .

When you think they cut the deal with Colin and then imagine $25 mil or even $75 mil for both and how enticing that is for Paki

In Chicago most are on the payoffs! In my case the judge/states attorney were convicted after a five year investigation on bribery for murder

My complaint was if these officials are proven to be crooked, why then are the cases they oversaw not retried?! The verdicts from them should be negated!

Murphy is over 300 miles from Fayetteville and Ft. Bragg - as far away as you can get and still be in North Carolina. One of the slogans is "From Murphy to Manteo" - the farthest west and east towns in the state.

The biggest problem with a tsunami as a surprise weapon would be that it's difficult to set it up as a surprise. You need some kind of massive movement of earth or water in order to set one up; this is going to be hard to hide. So you'd almost certainly have some hours of warning that one was coming - enough to save a lot of lives but not to save property.
