Title 3, Chapter 1, seems to deal mostly with what happens between the Election and the meeting of the Electoral College. I think that the most pointed questions on this thread have focused on the time between now and the Election
Heheh. Most of the questions on the thread relate to Kerry's meeting in 1970's, and I promise not to clutter this thread with but one more off-topic observation.
You are correct, Title 3, Ch 1 is entirely about "after the election." My bizzaro tendancy realizes that elections are not necessarily as orderly as we are accustomed to; and evil can throw the process into chaos at many points. And the media could be all a'twitter with "Isn't this exciting!"

Hillary Clinton is preparing to take a coronation at the convention after Kerry falls. She has had to spend no money. There are no soundbites from other RAT candidates attacking her. She would only have to run a very short campaign. It is her dream scenario. Yep. She has cleverly stayed out of the fray while watching the polling data and throwing tho occasional monkey wrench into the mix. If she concludes that GW is vulnerable enough, JFK will suffer an epifany (or worse, an "accident") and Evita will step in to popular acclaim. Machiavelli himself couldn't have written a better story line.
Of course, were JFK capable of beating GW and simultaneously stupid enough to pick Hillary for VP, Kerry would probably slip on a bar of soap in the shower and break his neck in month two of his fisrt term. Sacrebleu! Whaala!

so what?
Treason is considered a big time plus as political credentials in a presidential election... probably even ranking higher than adultery or lying under oath.
amongst democrats that is.
His popularity should really soar on this "announcment" and in fact, he may have leaked this through back channels himself, just so he could be more "anti-establishment" than DEAN...
and the moderates will love him more because this is nothing but a "mean spirited attack" by the "cruel fascist republicans". 'word up man' word up!

Bump for more thorough perusal later. These reports against Kerry are coming in fast and furious. Hope some of them stick to him.
To: hershey
they would call it the "wellstone project"
you are spot on about hillary using him as a placeholder till the convention, as she would have never withstood the scrutiny of the primary process...
I think the past history of bodycount with the clintongs indicate that kerry would be smart to stay off private and most commercial planes.
how like the clinktons... Watch out, "Ho Chi Kerry" watch out. Remember paul wellstone... and the clintongs...

Give me a minute I'll find it.
You have any idea of the name?
To: fightin kentuckian
His "no" vote was probably a flip-flop from his earlier stance. LOL! Yes. When Kerry votes no, he means NO (or yes). Just like when he votes yes, he means YES (or no).
