Because you yourself said that Howard's comments had convinced you to change from being a Republican to an independent. I'm just pointing out that Howard Stern is not exactly the political sage of all time (or even a consistent one), and he is perfectly willing to backtrack on 2 1/2 years of supporting the president on the WOT because of Stern's own petulance. Listening to Howard's advice on politics is about as worthwhile as voting for somebody because the Dixie Chicks tell you to.
