Mark Mead, political director for the Log Cabin Republicans the nation's largest homosexual Republican organization warned against the Bush team interpreting those numbers and predicting the homosexual community cannot influence the election.Appropriate name for the political director of the "Log Cabin Republicans."
These people need to haul their "logs" over the DemocRAT Party where they "fit in."

So gay and lesbian activist don't care if the rule of law is followed? What about hate crime laws? It seems they are more interested in only following selective laws. Sounds like a bunch of little kids changing the game rules so only they can win.
IHMO if a cause can not be forwarded by ethical and honest means it isn't worthy of success. The nation should revolt against it.

Homosexuals should join the Democratic Party. So that we can take homophobes out of the White House. And get rid of the don't ask don't tell policy, increase hater crime legislation and to allow Gays to marry.

"So gay and lesbian activist don't care if the rule of law is followed? What about hate crime laws?"Well, of course they want those laws enforced. I'd say something about oxes and being gored, but it might seem more like double entendre...

I wonder from time to time if we haven't past the point of no return. It seems these speciality groups have the money and time to keep pounding their message and it may be on the verge of becoming the norm.
We have let all these divisive groups have their way little by little and could it be there is not stopping them now?

The so-called Log Cabin Republicans are filthy infiltrators, designed to weaken conservative support of the GOP so the Rat can win.
These people will never vote for Bush or Republicans no matter how hard they're appeased. Screw 'em (figuratively not literally of course)

Yes, this election WILL be a test of the homo lobby. Which is all the more reason to nail the door shut on this homo marriage issue before the opinion-makers can sway the tide.

Interesting perspective, but it is just as likely that some homosexual people lean to the right on many issues. The ones who can't see that gay marriage is a leftist move to con the government into more health care and social security may well vote against Bush.
But I think there are plenty of homosexuals who are wise enough to see this farce for what it is. People do not have to live their lives in perfect harmony with everyone. We can and should differentiate when it is in our interest as a society. That is why men don't get to be Girl Scout leaders, (to select one case for clarity). The fact that log cabin republicans choose to be a sub-group within the GOP is indicative that they want to throw their collective voting weight around. Not always the best plan in politics.

So WHO are they are going to vote for?
Someone with such crystal clear conviction about Gay Marriage as JF Kerry huh? The guy who VOTED against the Bill Clinton signed law "DEFENSE of MARRIAGE act that would give STATES the right to NOT recognize OTHER states marriages between Gays and who today is CRYING out LOUD that the STATES should decide who gets married. HUH? He is both for states rights and against them at the same time. On top of that he is against the Constitutional Amendment that would take it OUT of the states hands. The man is a total FRAUD and those that don't know it or see it, DON'T WANT TO!!

I think I've found their playbook:
http://www.gunnewsdaily.com/soc3.html
I know the references to the Soviet Union and Khruschev are a bit dated from
The Naked Communist but the other things in there describes the America of 2004 even though it was written in 1958. Former FBI Agent, Dr. Skousen is still alive and well, he just turned 90 and still writes about these topics. He's a member of the LDS Church.
I might be delving into kookdom here but I'm beginning to think my father was right when he said way back in the 1970's when I was a kid that "we will face another Civil War." I've debated with the proponents of homosexual marriage and similar ideals and there is really no common ground between us and them. Basically, it just turns into an "Yo Mama" agrument and escalates from there. What really scares me is not if, but when, we reach a breaking point. Like you, I wonder if we have "jumped the shark" and passed the point of no return.

Good work, re Communist Party objectives. I had previously accessed News Max for the 45 points detailed by Mr Skousen. A cold chill went through me when I finally realised for a certainty of what it all meant. I unashamedly plead with all Freepers
please spend a matter of 10 minutes with the 45 points. That is, if you have not already.
I have printed up two copies to pass on, as my small part. Agree or disagree, it is a must. Cheers.

Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as normal, natural and healthy. This says it all!
Homosexuals are not only perverts that prey on American youngsters, but are promulgating the communist line!
Unfortunately these disciples of satan are working overtime to destroy this nation and society. Strong action is required to combat their evil designs.
Examining the figures on their numbers, which indeed are increasing, they still only comprise but 1.3 % of the population.

If you look at certain constituencies, yes, some are more active beyond their numbers
"
The solution to this problem of disproportionate influence by the homosexual lobby is simple: get more of the normal population involved in voting. Of course, the secondary problem is informing this normal population with the facts and keeping the propagandists from mudding the water. In a society where the press is both, protected by a First Amendment and dominated by liberal, socialist-leaning journalists and producers, keeping propaganda out of the mix may be nigh on to impossible. Therefore, the only suitable alternative is to counter the homosexual propaganda output with a larger, more productive fact output

I sometimes feel the same way, that we have reached the point of no return with the homos and abortionists having so much money and time.I guess if you do not produce children and all of your patients are dead, you have a lotof time on your hands that those of us with lots of kidsand jobs that are responsibilities to be lived up to,dont have. However, Sodom and Gommorah were destroyed and we had a small tap in the shoulder 911but the country as a whole has failed to heed it.This is just my personal opinion.I do not want to offend anyone directly.

The Republican Unity Coalition (RUC) was formed after Mr. Bush's election by prominent members of the party with the mission of making homosexuality a "nonissue" for Republicans. The "non-issue" has been kinda hard to ignore when the ENTIRE political spectrum of gays -- including the Log Cabin ilk -- keeps on ram-rodding the gay-marriage BS upon us.
If the RINO Kamikaze-Wing of GOP wants to keep on taking the conservative right for granted (hello CFR, Illegal Amnesty, fiscal irresponsibity, AWB, and perhaps THIS gay-marriage issue) they WILL find themselves in a smoldering heap on the outside looking in.

You know what is something, even in the old Soviet Union, homosexuality was a crime, I beoive if you were caught, you'd end up in a gulag for 8 years of hard labor. Basically, their plans were meant to weaken the rest of the world. I know the the Soviets are gone now but there are still plenty of people who do believe in weaking the West and the trouble is, they live with us here in the West.

Already MTV is getting it's Rock the Vote Campaign going, they say basically if there were more voters in 2000 than did vote, then how would things be different now. That puts the fear of God into me. We need to make a stand here.

Agreed. However, taking a stand on FreeRepublic is not enough. There is nothing more effective than word-of-mouth advertising. In this case, the advertising should be for the position of maintaining a strong set of American values about a democratic republic and stopping the judicial tyranny. This stand should be before our neighbors and coworkers. Unfortunately, many companies (I know I used to work for one) demand "tolerance" of the homosexual agenda at the expense of continued employment. Therefore, speaking before coworkers can be career suicide.
