So much stuff just waiting to be discovered.

Right. Unless you live or work in the middle of the contruction project that's been delayed.

Boston's "Big Dig" was delayed for a couple of million tax dollars when they came across the remains of a 2 or 3 hundred year-old latrine.

But, I guess a decent tomb would be worth it. :-)

Why do you think I am not digging? :)

I am sure people once lived there. People tend to camp or settle near flowing water but should I find something important then I could end up losing the place.

Of course maybe they would let me watch them dig and that would be neat. But then they likely would not let me use the dock anymore and that would be bad.
