Thanks! I'd like to add that until the 1950s there may have also been a bit of Jewish, Phoenician blood as well! And some French from the aristos that escaped the revolution and some Polish. bUt all these would be traces. Brits, as you correctly point out, has always been multi-cultural in a way.
