This is a little scary, though. Even forty years ago when I lived there, Rancho Cordova was wall-to-wall houses. She really should have been using a shotgun with fairly small shot.

``I like to be prepared,'' she said. With gun ownership, comes responsbility.
This well armed lady pulled the trigger nine times INSIDE HER HOUSE and got one peripheral hit, putting everyone else in the neighborhood, if not her furniture, at risk the other 8 times.
If you intend to defend yourself with a firearm, seek competent instruction and spend time periodically at the range.

this woman NEEDS gun control- 9 shots and she only hit his arm???
Some lessons in how to acheive better control and aim are in order.
If somoene breaks into my house I guarantee there will be only one side of the story that gets told.

A 53-year-old woman who fired nine shots with two handguns .... William Kriske, a 47-year-old parolee, was treated for a gunshot wound to the arm, then jailed on suspicion of burglary... She fired NINE times and all she accomplished was one wound to the arm?! She really needs to go back to the firing range for some practice. She's lucky that the didn't hit any of her guests, forget about the furniture.

A woman after my own heart. Protect that furniture! LOL, you gotta love her. But she does need to spend some time on the range, and I'm sure the cops told her that.

I figured Kalifornia would crucify her beside "the 10"(interstate 10).

Sacramento County Sheriff's Sgt. Lou Fatur said Lisle, a retired state worker who once worked as a correctional officer, would not be charged for defending herself with properly registered firearms.Well, this seems reasonable because a person usually doesn't get charged with committing a crime unless they've actually committed a crime.
