I also saw heavy action and witnessed unrecognized heroism that makes Kerry's deed look elementary. And those heroes didn't ask for any more recognition other than to know that they had protected and saved their own. They certainly, like the true heroes they are, do not boast about themselves or their service. We as a group were spit on as we walked off the plane when we returned, by the very group that Kerry was partly responsible for supporting.
There is also a movement starting from veterans like myself who stand against Kerry and his hypocrisy, we deeply resent his opportunistic grandstanding at our expense and we will tell the world about it before it is all said and done.
First of all, God Bless you and Carpio, and thanks for Serving. Secondly, you Vets are the only ones that can take him out on this issue because you're the only ones w/the Moral Asendency (sp?) to do so. And as far as I'm concerned you have every right to start the knee-capping in earnest immediately.
On a lighter note, you'll have to pardon all the violent allusions on my part, I'm Italian.
