Drudge doesn't have to put up more than a headline. All Drudge has to do is say a story is "developing" and everybody simply follows.

Exactly. But I just cannot believe that the president is not hearing his base who seems to be pretty vociferous here. Something seems to be going on at the WH that we are not privy too. But then, I dont like what he is doing now, but I sure am going to like a lot less of what the eventual opponent would do, if he gets into the WH.
