Susan Yolen, vice president for public affairs of Planned Parenthood of Connecticut, agrees that publicizing these stories is the best inoculation against the shame many women feel about having had abortions.

This is apparently the Left's answer to the Silent No More campaign. I personally know some women like the ones in the article--people who are proud of killing their own offspring. I think that if they are matched against those who feel remorse (and especially against those who did choose life), our side will come out on top every time.

The mother-in-law story seems very contrived. I know several people who have had abortions, and they have all had trouble with pregnancies afterward. They could get pregnant, but they could not carry well. The mother-in-law claims four abortions, one of which resulted in severe bleeding, and four children after? I don't think so. (I suppose it is possible, but I really, seriously doubt the veracity of this story.) I cannot imagine having a mother like that. Or a mother-in-law.

After reading these stories, I am so saddened. How can people be so selfish? Do they not believe in the same God I do? God, help us all.

What a horrific article. These women obviously have no sense of morality, to be proud of murdering their own children - even several of their children. As a woman who considers herself a feminist (not a feminazi!), I find this article repugnant. Feminism has failed when women feel they have no alternatives besides killing their children.

What kind of man would actually encourage his partner or wife to do something like this? We plan to wait a while after marriage for kids - but if an "oops" happens, in the long run it would be a blessing, not a curse. I cannot comprehend killing a baby because it's "inconvenient."

"I personally know some women like the ones in the article--people who are proud of killing their own offspring."

I know what you mean.

My sister in-law, although she has never had an abortion, is 100% in favor of it.

I'm now afraid to bring out this issue and talk about it with her or my brother, who agrees with her. Either I have to keep the issue moot, or I'll have to repudiate both of them for good. God knows I've tried many times in the past to make them see the light, but in vain.

Yeah, these women sure sound like the type I'd like to bring home to meet mom... (/sarcasm)

She knew she didn't want the child.

My mother told me long ago that men and women don't decide when they have a child; God decides.

All these boastful women and those who aided them are damned.

The elderly Latvian refugee is four-times damned.

I find it interesting when elderly women defend abortion, and in these cases, actually defend having them. They don't realize that they are on the to-be-killed list, too.

Don't make a trip to Holland.

"The whole act of women telling their story and standing up and saying, 'I had an abortion, and I'm not ashamed,' and showing the universality of it is the power of this video," Aldrich says.

Abortion IS something to be ashamed of. There is a reason WHY they didn't disclose this before - they ARE ashamed of it but live in denial. Now they seek solace with other lost souls still in denial of this terrible sin. It will haunt even them to the day they die. You can't rationalize it away. If I had to rate sins, I'd say this one is one of the worst that a female can commit.

A mother is supposed to protect her unborn and children - not use legalized premeditated murder endorsed by our lovely "traditional" medical community. Our "traditional" medical community should have rejected it - they didn't and very few speak out against it.

I wonder ... when they stand in front of God ... will they be so smug and arrogant? Will they still be trying to blame someone else for what they did? Will God "understand" why they murdered their baby? After His judgment ... wonder will they will spend eternity?

It would serve them well to admit their shame and seek forgiveness while they still can.

They are desperately trying to count act the women who are SORRY for their abortion. Of that, there are MANY.
