Many of us here actually like and admire this President and this is a special night for us. I like and admire this President too. I hope that he can mend his ways (see CFR, Prescription Drug Entitlements, Amnesty Plan, etc) before it is too late.

I think small screen captures are ok, but huge 30K sized photo's I think are going a bit too far. The pages are big enough without having to load huge photos.

Closing the borders and stopping runaway spending would be some darn nice things to hear about, but Bush has my vote.As crows pick the bones clean from Grey Davis, as he swings from a political rope, going down in total disgrace and dishonor, it seems President Bush has a very short memory.

For the speech itself, it shouldn't really matter, as I think they will all take pool camera coverage. For all the before and after stuff that happens, (as the President makes his way through the crowd) I'd say your safer to stay with CSPAN to catch all the nuances. Because Fox will be cutting between their analysis and the shots. Having said that I will probably be on Fox. ;-)

I'm taking a wait-and-see approach to the SOTU. I'm not exactly pleased with some of his work (the immigration issue, Rx bill, Education act), but I'm happy with what he's done security-wise.
I'm anxious to hear what he plans along the lines of marriage.

Decisions, decisions...I am so torn because I like listening to what the Fox talking heads have to say but I also like to get the whole thing on tape. Maybe I'll tape it from Fox the first time and then tape it again from a C-Span rerun. Sounds a bit like overkill but it might work for me. Hehehehe.
