"Why Hillary is 'most admired woman... and why Laura Bush isn't"Well, for starters the average American voter is as dumb as a turkey dropping.

The reason why Hillary got 16% of the vote was because there were 16% of the respondents who also wished they had testicles. :-)

What most stories about the annual list of most admired people misses, is that the most admired man by Americans by a whopping 29% margin over the second place vote-getter is President Bush.
President Bush's score was one of the top three scores for men since Gallup began asking the questno in 1948. The article further said that in 2001 Bush scored the highest ranking ever.

Hillary is most admired for the same reason that Diana was obsessively mourned.
They are every woman's soap opera image of the woman whose man done 'em wrong. Virtually every woman in America who is old enough to have commenced her estris is, or at least fancies herself, hard done by some lout.
They can all identify with their "courage." The worse Slick behaved, the higher Bitch Clinton was held in regard.

Women voters put Bill Clinton into the White House, and they might put Hillary in there as well. The Clintons are the best argument yet for immediate repeal of the 19th Amendment.

Laura Bush also stays more in the background by not tinkering with things she knows nothing about.Bet Laura knows plenty more than this author is giving her credit for. She prefers to keep a low profile and doesn't consider herself to be co-president.
All Hillarys yelling and screaming did no good what so ever. It would probably just take a few quiet words from Laura to get W back on track.
Plus she has the most beautiful smile.

To add to the lack of excitement, these days, there are no throw downs and tickle-fights with the lead White House counsel, and then after he's found dead, commencing to grieve in the standard Clinton fashion by rifling the office of the deceased and removing the information from computer hard drives. It was a touching farewell to a good friend, and an admirable trait to 16 percent of us. Ah yes, the good ole days. All those poor dead former friends and acquaintances of the Clintons. And the tears, all those tears for lost friends.
Yes, those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.
