The basic problem is that the woman should never have been pinged to the thread. That's what created the problem. I notice that the pinger has vanished. Why would he ping her to a thread that might be hurtful to her? That's the question. I certainly don't blame her for being on line or for following his ping.

I certainly don't blame her for being on line or for following his ping.I agree, the ping was not a nice thing to do - we are in agreement there. However, I would have just ignored it. I ignore a lot of pings.
