In the last few months President Bush has done quite a few things to alienate his base voters. Nevertheless I will still be voting for him. Overall I think he has been a great war time President and there is not one other candidate that I would trust our national security to. We all need to realize that the biggest issue we face is focusing on keeping the terrorists out of our country and keeping the war off our home ground. Also remember that PEOPLE ARE NOT PERFECT, they will make some decisions that are not always wise. I feel that President Bush is the Rock that we need in this war on terror and if any of you think that the terrorists and their insider advisors aren't doing everything they can to get the American people to desert the one man who is standing up to them you got another thing coming. ALL other issues pale in comparison
I know it's hard to take, but you need to realize that Bush is not conservative, he's a socialist. He's federalized education, increased spending 27% in just 2 years (fastest increase in 40 years), pushed a trillion dollar welfare entitlement to the richest demographic group (medicare drugs), and then this damnable idiocy of signing this bill. Bush deserves to lose because HE SIGNED THIS BILL. Doesn't matter why. Either he is really stupid or he didn't care, but either way, HE SIGNED A BILL LIMITING OUR LIBERTY!
He's got to go. No other solution is adequate.
Regards.
P.S. Read this article I've posted showing what a traitor Bush is. It's from Human Events - an old trustworthy conservative magazine. "Stalwarts Fought Drug Bill 'Til Dawn". Maybe someone can post a link to it for me. It is unbelievably disgusting how Bush told conservatives "if they didn't change their votes the President would IMMEDIATELY INSTRUCT THE HOUSE LEADERSHIP TO PASS THE DEMOCRATIC VERSION OF THE BILL -- WHICH WAS MUCH WORSE!"
Read that last sentence again and try and defend Busch. He disgusts me.
Again, BUSH SIGNED THE BILL -- and he deserves our contempt. No other response is sufficiently strong in my humble opinion. 'Nuff said.
