Greer because he's "tough on crime" or whatever,

No, George W. Greer is a "civil court" judge: he handles no criminal cases. Yet he treats a disabled Medicaid patient that he has never seen far, far worse than a common criminal. Pretty soon, the people of FL must say what they stand for? If they stand for George W. Greer, they are indeed a hopeless electorate.

That's why I added "or whatever." Ok, how about "honest, fair, no nonsense!" LOL! You know, the kind of stuff that goes into all the political literature.

If they stand for George W. Greer, they are indeed a hopeless electorate.

Sometimes that's the case. There are voters who are not fully informed, or ones who just don't get it.

There are so many people who are retiring down in FL, that it's not really a big surprise that this state has become a hotbed for the euthanasia issue. There's the "Hemlock People" who want to take advantage of the situation. And then there are the utilitarians who welcome the retirees $$$ to build up the state economy, and then want them to die "because the old folks cost us too much money to keep alive."

Do the Seniors down there realize this? I'll take a wild guess and say that the majority doesn't.

I think the saddest thing of all are the Seniors who are willing to be pulled off a feeding tube, because they don't want to be a burden to "the kids." Well, in my mind, the parents are OWED BIG TIME, after having made all those diaper changes, to say the least.
