Why do you think the Pinellas voters continue to ratify the selections of Greer, Baird, and so many other liberal judges of both parties? Is it just a matter of "name recognition" or is it ignorance of or support for these liberal (even if Republican)judges' agenda?

I think some voters buy into the liberal agenda, some vote for the incumbent, and some vote for the Republican label.

I've seen for some time that liberals have been joining the Republican Party, under the description of "moderate." Or "social liberal, fiscal conservative." This is a very dangerous development, especially for the pro-life movement. I've already heard true Republicans being marginalized by the labels "right wingers," "far right," or "radical right," by the RINOs who are infiltrating the party.

Take a look at the CA recall election. The vast majority of voters wanted the Ultra Liberal Davis out. Ok, who to vote for? The media was captivated by Arnold S., and convinced the public that Tom McClintock didn't have a prayer. As Rush always says, the litmus test was abortion. Many pro-life people voted for Arnold, because they were desperate to get rid of Davis, and getting some of what you want is better than getting none of what you want. (An Aunt and Uncle of mine were among those voters, by the way.)

Sure enough, McClintock lost, but his candidacy was of extreme importance, not only because he kept his word to stay in the race, he also was a man who truly represented his party, and gave pro-lifers a voice, and the opportunity to vote their consciences. By his presence on the ballot, he stood for the integrity of the party, which was a great and noble thing for him to do.

I can easily see some people voting for Greer because he's "tough on crime" or whatever, and he's a Republican, and we'll get more from him than we would from his Democrat challenger.

In the same vein, there is significant talk that Rudy Giuliani is going to challenge Ms. Witch for her Senate seat in 2006. I remember that in his first Mayoral run, he was pro-life, and he lost to Dinkins. Rudy defeated Dinkins, the second time around, and it was the new, improved, pro abortion Rudy who was sworn into office. In other words, he sold out.

I found out recently, through the Sean Hannity show, that Rudy is pro partial birth abortion. Now who would I vote for? This is a *real* dilemma.

The more that voters accept pro abortion/pro euthanasia RINOs, the less choice we'll have. That scares me.
