Dear TEX, you're apologizing? Lol, thank you for being here for the troops, and those who love 'em. Thank you for #93, and praying in agreement with you!

Praying for our troops who find Christmas especially difficult for whatever reason, that God may fill them with the Holy spirit, bring them comfort and ease their loneliness.

Also, we have a new Soldier for the prayer list, the beloved son of Freeper Debi, Sgt. Emerson Brand, serving with the 4th ID, in Samarra.

Debi lets us know that this area in the Sunni triangle is under attack often, filled with Saddam Hussein loyalists, enemies who are against our troops.

Please pray for Sgt. Brand, and the protection of our 4th Infantry Division troops and civilian support staff.

Thank you!

Re your post 74:

You are welcome for the thread, GatorGirl. Amom does a terrific job at keeping our Lists cleaned and pressed!

(***List Update Alert, AMOM!!***)

We are so happy to receive the update, GG! How exciting that your hubby has returned after TWO YEARS???!!! WOW!! Bless both of your sweet hearts for sacrificing those years to our nation....I guess it's honeymoon time for y'all for a while...Let us hear from you again real soon, after you resurface! ;-)

We are glad to hear that Rich, Tom, and Alex are back to reserve status. While our reservists are not completely out of harm's way, we generally have the expectation that they are not being required to dodge enemy ordinance 24/7. I know that you are breathing a bit easier on that score.

How exciting that you will get to see Jason for the Holidays, and that he will be there as well for the 7th anniversary. Happy Times!!

Merciful Father,
We pray for friend Tom, who is currently deployed to Afghanistan. We pray for Jason, who is on R&R. May the Lord bless and keep them at all times. May they have insight, wisdom, courage, strength, and your protection at all times while they are on active deployment. Father, let them be surrounded with legions from Archangel Michael's bands. Let them have the ability to fulfill all of their missions, obligations, and assignments with grace and according to the highest standards they hold for themselves. Hold these young men and all their brothers and sisters under arms in your mighty hand and wrap them each in a specially armored prayer blanket of invulnerability, invincibility, and invisibility, impervious to all malintent.

Let your divine Will be done for this friend Tom, and for GatorGirl's entire family. We thank you for the good news which GG has shared with us this day. Let your divine Will be done for these and all who are in similar situations.

Amen

I am so fond of the devotion to St. Michael. Thank you for posting it. IMHO, it bears repeating... so I will :-)

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we humbly pray.
And do thou O Prince of the Heavenly Host
By the power of God
Cast into hell satan
and all the other evil spirits
who prowl about this world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.
