I would like to see a list of specific deficiencies the homo lobby wants "corrected." I think the state should butt out of any arrangements two individuals want to make with regards to their personal property. As to insurance benefits, those are not provided by the government, and should not be the government's concern. Take it up with the insurance company. Social Security? Allow a beneficiary to be designated.
As far as inheritance, a will can be made out to leave an estate to anyone. Michael Jackson could leave Neverland to his monkey.
But none of these things constitute a marriage, at least not in the fullest sense of that word. For that, a spiritual recognition is necessary. And I am free to withhold that recognition all the while honoring the legal arrangements between two homosexuals.
