My daughter received the Sacrament of Confirmation this evening. As we left the church, the eclipse was just beginning under a crystal clear sky. We went for dinner and as we emerged from the restaurant, the eclipse was complete with the moon casting a beautiful red glow. What a magnificent and awsome sight on this truly sacred occasion! Red is the color of Confirmation. Just a perfect day!
