Look at how she is looking at her Mother. She is not in a coma, no way, no how.

"Comas" are not uncommonly output-only blockages. The patient can still perceive by hearing (or more) even though incapable of mustering voluntary motion.

It is a truly beautiful. That's the photo that's worth a thousand words -- to those who are willing to see and hear the truth.
Someone said about the photo of Michael & Terri, taken in 1990, that he sure is looking at her as if she is "there". SHE has not changed from then to now. And you know that photographer didn't wait 4 HOURS to get that shot!
Terri might not have "performed" as Michael wanted in terms of her improvement with short-term rehab. If so, HE'S the one with the unrealistic expectations. What's he like with potty training?
The fact that this became a "right to die" issue is appalling, atrocious, based as it is on later recollection and hearsay, hidden medical records, and no access to the patient. Now bigger egos are involved, with no concern for the person, making her a case, a cause.
Let Terri go home to her mother, Michael. What is she to you? Feel free to put this all behind you, get on with your life -- let Terri get on with hers.
Sad. May angels seen and unseen continue to guard, protect, and strengthen Terri.
