OK, so that's the scam.

They say they are going to run this thing on SeeBS, and conservatives everywhere have a collective conniption fit. Then they move it over to Showtime, which has the same corporate parent, where normally nobody would see it. But now that it has gotten so much free publicity, people might actually tune in to see it.

We're doing Viacom's promotion for them...

This thing would be a disaster on broadcast, but will be a huge winner on cable.

Something tells me that this fix was in from the beginning, and we have all been played for suckers. I don't like being played for a sucker. I will hold this against SeeBS until the day I die. I have already programmed them off my TV, and they will not be getting back. Plenty of football on FOX.

You know, I just don't think the folks at Viacom are that smart. And I can't see people flocking to subscribe to Showtime just for this movie. Liberals who hate Reagan, hate Reagan. A movie isn't going to make them hate him more. That's why CBS would have failed miserably. This was a hit piece, pure and simple. They got caught. And they paid for it.

Please don't watch that horrible movie when it's on ShowTime. Boycott means avoid, shun and ignore. If you are close to canceling ShowTime on your cable bill, please tell the local cable company the "Reagan" movie is what finally made you cancel.

I have cable, but no premium or movie channels as cable, like regular TV, is mostly junk and chewing gum for tired brains.

Cancel showtime and sell your Viacom stock.

Write to Viacom and tell them you will never buy their stock.

I don't think so. I can't imagine the left (other than Bill C.) being that creative. They can't stand the thought of loosing to us, so they wouldn't give in unless faced with loosing big advertisers like Hallmark. JMHO, but it is right! ;-)
