It is amazing how quickly people will pull the plug on someone's life. It is very much like Hitler killing the handicapped, retarded, etc.

I had a very close friend that died of stomach cancer. Even though he was in extreme pain and had withered down to nothing, he never gave up hope. Although he was terminal, he kept trying new treatments. No matter how bad he looked or felt, he would come to work just to visit with his friends. It made him very happy to with his friends. Each extra was golden to him. Using the logic from Schiavo and his lawyer, my friend should have taking a gun to his head months earlier. He was giong to die anyways right?
