that's what I mean - a law (a net) to prevent a situation like this where there are such opposing sides and the loved one is not able to speak for themselves. I think it's horrible that he prevents the family from seeing her too - the state should step in and allow for visits by her parents and siblings too - the marriage license this guy bought shouldn't let him "own" her life - esp since he want to kill her.

Still wondering, does anyone know how long they were married before she became injured?
