I'm waiting until the first teacher snaps in class, pulls out a magnum, and starts putting large holes in a number of the little darlings.

(We send our kids to Iraq to fight for them, and they send our jobs to India. Now THAT'S gratitude!)

The students who want to learn have a right to not have classes disrupted by thugs.Maybe it is they and their parents who should sue the school districts for allowing a classroom atmosphere which is unsuitable for learning.

No doubt about it. Pupils have the upper hand in class. Teachers ought to have the power to eject pupils on a whim. True, there might be only half the class left, but the quality of education would more than make up for the loss of the malfeasors. Maybe American students could then begin to climb out of 16th place among industrial countries.

I'm waiting until the first teacher snaps in class, pulls out a magnum, and starts putting large holes in a number of the little darlings. I'm waiting for one of the relatives of the assaulted teacher to kick some of these kids a*ses after school hours. I'm surprised it hasn't happened, or has yet to be reported.
If these unruly students knew that they would get a thorough beat-down (or threat of a beat-down) for assualting one of the teachers, they would think twice before "throwing the chair" the "punch in the stomach" or the "spit in the face" that you are hearing about these days.
Sorry, but if it were my wife, sister, or mother that was assaulted in the fashion that I'm hearing on this thread, and nothing was done about it, you bet that I wouldn't take things lying down.
