Why do people care about how we think about the governor? If I see this as weakness, and I don't want to vote for him, so what? I can't believe that some folks main concern here is the party line.

Yeah, I just can't be blind like that. If someone screws up, I call 'em on it. That goes for my namessake, too. If Rummy acted like a coward, I would say it.

As I've been saying in another thread, the reason -I- care is because you're lynching Bush as a ritual sacrifice instead of admitting the real problem, which is that the judiciary run our country.

I'd be saying this even if the governor in question was a Democrat I wanted out of power. Even -he- couldn't do anything.

NO ONE CAN TOUCH A JUDGE EXCEPT ANOTHER JUDGE. Face it. Realize it. Internalize it. It's over. The only constitutional power that can affect judges belongs to the legislature, which allows them to impeach a judge. And if they tried it, I have no doubt they would turn around and say they can't do that because it's unconstitutional. Who could stop them?

I'm not going to repost everything I said on this subject - I have a feeling no one is willing to listen anyway. But if someone cares, if anyone detects even a kernel of truth in what I'm saying, go read what I said on the last page of the "BUSH CAN SAVE TERRI" thread.

I'm not defending Bush because I like Bush or party loyalty. If it was a Democrat Governor, I'd still be pointing out to you that the person that did this was a JUDGE, not a Governor.

And you're living in a dreamland if you think a Governor can even -touch- a Judge in raw power in our country anymore.
