Other teams have fans that wave white towells (like the French), have "rally monkeys" (last years' Angels), think up stupid sayings ("Cowboy Up"), call their betters "The Evil Empire" (The Sox again)......but the Yankees forgo all of that nonsense.

For them, it's all about winning, and doing it with class and style.

And btw, you were right on in a post you wrote earlier about Yankee fans being conservatives. I know lots of Yankee fans (as I'm sure you do), and nearly every last one of them is a conservative. ......even ones who live in liberal neighborhoods.
