They didn't do anything radical like tear it down (though the Yankees did spend a couple seasons in Queens). Of course, with Steinbrenner, who knows how much longer it'll stay standing regardless of how old it feels like.

In my opinion, it still is the coolest park in baseball.
The history of baseball that was played on that field.
Memorial Park in Left Field.
No place like it. No matter who your team is.

I know, just wish these broadcasters weren't so pro-Yankee.... Trust me, Fox is dying to see a Cubs-Sox Series.

Just a remodeling ......much of the original is still there.

I say based upon this series it looks like a very easy to prove theory.

(Not a Yankee fan just love play-off baseball.)

Sox finally turn a DP!

I'm an NL guy, but since my Braves choked (yet again), I'd like a Cubs-Sox series. And besides, kudos to any guy who can date a babe like Mia.

3-1 Yankess is score. Bottom of 5th, Sox up. Sox dodged the bullet, Yanks stranded runners at 1st and 3rd.

Trust me, Fox is dying to see a Cubs-Sox Series. I think the operative word is "dying". There at least is some history between the Cubs and the Yankees to play up (even if the last time they met outside of Pope Bud I's abomination of interleague games was when Babe Ruth was calling shots).

They were talking about the first baseman at the beginning of the game...Not sure what was said....but I think he's in there today for his bat, not his defense.
To: TheBigB
Mia, a babe? Not to my eyes.
You should see David Wells' wife.

Fox management wants a Cubs - Sox World Serious, but McTurd could care less about management. He sounds like a Democrat.
To: nuffsenuff
But you do agree that it was cooler before?

Sorry, I'm just incredibly sick of hearing how everyone is pro-Yankee. McCarver and Morgan are notorious among hard-core Yankee fans as hating the Yankees, so I guess perception is everything.

Yeah, you don't suppose she's in it for the money?
