Anyone who is available and really wants the job should take Boxer on.

My only stipulation is that the Republican have a pretty sharp mind, and have an excellent campaign manager. Sal Russo has to go. Ditto with Rollins. He almost lost an election to Florio.

Why do California Republicans have no good campaign managers?

Almost every state in the country has a GOP whiz except for California.

I know it is a big state, but you have to start in your base, and then work into Southern California.

Make San Francisco the state enemy.

Doug Ose is another possibility. I hear he is somewhat wealthy. He could not entirely self-fund, but he could pump a few million into his own campaign.
