I wouldn’t call DJT stupid but if I was advising him I’d advise him to substantially change his strategy. I’d advise him to tone down...or even cease...his attacks on DeSantis and focus on The Big Guy and his clown circus.Stuff like:
“Remember 1.5% inflation,America?”
“Remember gas at $1.95 a gallon,America?”
“Remember a southern border that was sealed tight,America?”
“Remember when large nations weren’t invading smaller neighbors,America?”

Trump does not like competitors. Right now, his biggest competitor is RDS. After primaries are over, you won’t hear anti-RDS statements from Trump.
