As for talking in the Senate, he doesn't seem to accomplish much with it. Talk in the Senate is for the purpose of accomplishing something. Yes, voicing opposition to the GOPee and the Democrat agenda didn't accomplish much.
Lot had a hard time talking with the denizens of Sodom, too.
At least Lot got credit for trying.
