---snip---
Comes now a story in the New York Times, making a similar point or two:
Donald Trump holds a dominant position in national polls in no small part because he is extremely strong among people on the periphery of the Republican coalition.
He is strongest among Republicans who are less affluent, less educated and less likely to turn out to vote. His very best voters are self-identified Republicans who nonetheless are registered as Democrats. It's a coalition that's concentrated in the South, Appalachia and the industrial North, according to data provided to The Upshot by Civis Analytics, a Democratic data firm.
Mr. Trump's huge advantage among these groups poses a challenge for his campaign, because it may not have the turnout operation necessary to mobilize irregular voters....

Those voters dont usually turn out to vote because there is no one to vote for.
That wont be the case this year.
GO TRUMP!
I am getting tired of the derogatory identification of Trump supporters. It is as bad as the meme that Trump has peaked, that he can’t win, that he will drop out. As bad as people saying Cruz is surging with his several dozen-strong crowds! This article, like others highlight why Trump wins and Cruz has no where to go and he and other Republicans will lose. Cruz has a small core of supporters, which he is shoring up at the expense of alienating the rest of the Republican base. By every reading he has absolutely zero support or growth beyond this core group. Trump, on the other hand, has broad support in all demographics and he draws groups that measure into the 10s of thousands.
Most Rats see the muslim hoard as competitors. Surprising to see some have turned.
“Several dozen-strong crowds.” Lying just comes naturally to a $#*+-stirrer, doesn’t it?
*competitors for the destruction of the West.
How about the voters who agree with Trump but refuse to support him because they are PC cowards?
I admit that I also have mixed feelings about voters that “don’t turn out” but better late than never I suppose and the respect will definitely turn their way if that changes this year.
Sounds like people are CATCHING ON regarding how Trump will win.
ABOUT TIME.
Now about the only people saying that Trump will drag-down lower-ticket candidates are the GOPe. We’ve made a lot of progress in the past few months detailing Trump’s path to victory (and with it, strong down-tick performances)...so all is well.
Hear, hear! How dare Cruz campaign against Trump.
The polls are going to be so wrong this year, lol.
Reagan ‘Rats still kickin, Aye. Her thighness in her pantsuit will be crustally pissed.ROFL.
They believe Trump is for them, and trust him to do the right thing. What the Cruz supporters need to understand is that these people DON'T "get" Cruz...and won't take the time to try. $100 million in ads can't change that. Clinton can portray Cruz as the same as all Republicans...for the rich and against the workers...and they will believe her.
She cannot do that with Trump. It just won't work. She can drive Hispanic support to a record-low 20%, and Black vote to a record low of 5%...and it won't mean a thing if Trump can simply increase his WHITE vote by a mere 4.5%, according to Pew Research. Is there ANYONE who thinks Donald Trump can't get 4.5% more White than Country Club Mittens? Try +8%, in my estimation.
Can you honestly say you can picture Cruz getting those voters? I can’t. Especially when he starts talking about “strapping on the armor of God”.
They beat the hell out of a multi-millionaire but a multi-billionaire is untouchable? Tell me more...
So you don’t like Christianity? I guess it takes all kinds to populate the conservative world.
Another poll that will be ignored by Will, Kraut and Hume.
Pray America wakes
You’d think the Establishment would be happy. They’ve been trying to get democrats to vote for the republican nominee for years!
But the fact that they’re not speaks volumes, for we all know that they would rather have the republican party move in a liberal direction, to gain those democrat voters (which would not be gained), than have more conservative democrats move to it with a conservative nominee.
It’s sick!
And they won’t come out to his rallies either. /s
