If there's one think you can say about the 2016 Republican presidential field, it is this: It is going to be HUGE.
There are currently 23 names on the long, long list of potential candidates. That's twice (!) as many people as have ever run for the GOP nomination in the past. Now, not all of those "candidates" will actually run -- Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker and Rep. Marsha Blackburn don't make much sense as presidential candidates, to name just two -- but that's a huge field of prospective candidates.
And while all two dozen names being mentioned won't make the race, the fact that so many credible candidates are actively looking at running speaks to the key dynamic of the coming Republican race: There is no true frontrunner....

Interesting list, I think I would vote for any over Hillary except for Christie. I have sworn off ever voting for him. I think Rubio and Bush are not likely to win the nomination either. But I am worried that blue states may vote them in during the primaries.
I would happily vote for the rest of the top ten. My favorite might be Walker or Rand. The two together would be nice with Walker as Pres. And Rand with his knowledge of the Senate, being the better VP.
Democrats and Rinos love Bush and Christie. The media will push for both of them. But Conservatives should work hard to get one of the other ones in a pole position so that the conservative vote is not splintered.

My take on their Top Ten:
10. Paul Ryan -He might run, but I don’t see him getting anywhere.
9. Mike Huckabee - Huck should probably stick with his talk show. A no-hoper for the nomination, IMHO. I think he’s a good man, but his political window of opportunity has passed, IMHO.
8. Ted Cruz - Cruz will run, and make a very strong run at that. He’s probably the #1 choice for most conservatives.
7. Bobby Jindal. I really, really like Jindal. He’s my personal favorite of the bunch. I think, unfortunately, he will suffer from Dick Lugar Syndrome if he runs: incredibly smart and very capable, but kinda dull, kinda short, and seen as kinda RINO-ish in some circles.
6. Kasich - On paper, there’s a lot to recommend him. He’s won twice in a crucial battleground state the GOP has twice lost. He’s fairly popular, and he’s experienced. In practice, he’d be better than what the Democrats will offer up, but probably would be a squishy conservative that’s going to “reach across the aisle” too often. His embrace of the ACA has made a lot of conservatives wary.
5. Scott Walker - Could be, could very well be. The guy’s got sand, as they say. And he’s a governor, which I think will bode well for 2016.
4. Marco Rubio - eh, I don’t think so. He might get the VP slot, but I don’t see him at the top of the ticket in 2016.
3. Jeb Bush - No. Please no. Pretty please no, with sugar sprinkles on top.
2. Chris Christie - Christie might end up at VP (doubtful), or with a plum job in a GOP administration (more likely), but I really don’t see the guy as a Presidential contender.
1. Rand Paul - I’ll probably be flamed a little here, but to me Rand Paul is too much like his dad. It’s in a nicer, more rational package, but I’m still not sold on him.
We must support Christie if either Jeb or Mitt are running.
Unless we can divide the mushy moderate voters in primaries, conservatives have no chance.

Agree and go further...Rubio would be a good pick for VP. Florida would go nuts for him and close down the well known voter fraud in Miami/Broward/Palm counties. Cruz/Rubio?
In any case conservatives need to keep our choices few and clean. The GOPe will try anything to get Bush/Christe/other in. Excellent example is Graham of SC..solid conservative state but he is planning to run to keep conservatives out...no other reason. Graham knows he cant win but he is offering insurance to the GOPe candidate.

I’m so disillusioned with the end result of anyone who sells themselves as conservative and then totally sells out once they get into the D.C. royalty “Club” and proceeds to make a left turn and kiss liberal a** and backstab everyone who sent them there that I can barely stand the thought of voting anymore. I don’t know if they get blackmailed or they get career or literal death threats, but the Repubs are so sold out and worthless and busy kissing leftie-butt that there’s no hope for real change.
I don’t have confidence any of them. Been lied to so many times I think anyone who enters politics is a demoncRat in the end. Pretty hopeless feeling. Is there really any hope? I know we have to hang on to something, somehow, but the future looks pretty damned dark right now.
The Palins and Bachmann’s get ridiculed and run out of town. Ted Cruz is being slimed by the dem drive-bys every day. Been there done that with the Rands, Bushes, and Huckabees. I just don’t know what to think anymore.

I would like to see that it not to be a person that has a weak tendency to move to the left because once they make the presidency, you will see a change in the person so, go with the person who has the most hardline core on the issues. Someone who is a natural and speaks from their heart / and gut/ doesn’t need a teleprompter or wait a few minutes and they could change their minds. Kind of like Rand, who would be pleasing the Gope, and the libs on day one. I never know what he is going to say. Huckabee, a nice man but I want to see a fresh face. Jeb, Romney, Paul Ryan, Christie in NJ, are all too liberal who could pass for democrats and we see what the democrats are doing. Jeb now is related to the Clintons. lol. I’m so over the Bushes. Like bye bye. Walker, Cruz, Palin and Sessions are all of my faves and of course, Mr. Newt. And just for fun, the Milwaukee County Sheriff is right cool, too! I’d vote for him in a heartbeat. :)

Liberalism is destroying our nation. Christie in the White House... can you see him cursing out people to get his sandwiches and hamburgers to him on time. If he were a conservative, it would be fun to watch him raise hell and tell the major libs to shut up but he’s not that.
That imagery of 15 people standing on the stage at 20+ debates saying nearly the same thing and the internecine battles within the GOP did nothing for that party’s brand but damage it in 2012. No more than the top five candidates should be debating, and the primary season should be far shorter. The guns need to be trained as early as possible at whichever beast that the darkside puts forth.
What about Mitt Romney? I think he will toss his hat in the ring-—He might do better than one thinks. Then there is Donald Trump, No one lists Rick Perry as running. Then there is Newt, Bolton, maybe someone else??? Lots are going to change betwix now and then. For all we know—there may well not be an election!

Gov. Walker is my top 2016 choice, followed by Gov. Pence. I like Sen. Cruz, but there’s a pressing need to have at the top of the ticket a battle-tested trench fighter with a record of executive-level success. Cruz would have more value fighting the battles in the Senate. Rubio would be a workable choice as VP.
I’ll only vote for a Conservative Republican.
If a Progressive Republican wins the primary there is no point in voting for him since a Progressive Repoblican is a Democrat in GOP drag.
