Frank Aquila wasnt 100 percent positive that former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney was going to win heading into Tuesdays election.
Despite his strong conservative roots, Aquila who served as a county chair for John McCains 2008 presidential campaign and penned a book about the decision to go with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate had seen too much transpire over the course of four years to count out to former senator from Illinois that cut his teeth in the rough-and-tumble world of Chicago politics.
And while certain parts of the election like the Democrats winning a supermajority in the California Legislature to compliment Jerry Browns governorship scare him, there is, he says, a silver lining thatll come out of all of this.
Thursday night the founder of the South San Joaquin Republicans spoke before nearly two dozen people at the only November meeting of the Manteca Tea Party Patriots at Chez Shari. He broke down the results of the election spelling out the ways in which he has seen Obama rise to power in America.
While he would have liked to have seen a different outcome, Aquila says that he foresees a colossal collapse of the financial system as a result of the Presidents failed economic policies, mounting debt, hyperinflation and the pending exodus of American companies that he believes will move overseas to escape higher taxes.
I hope that Im wrong in all of this, for the sake of our country, Aquila said. But weve kicked the can down the street too far and too much for something like this not to happen.
And if Governor Romney was to have won, and something like that was to happen all of these 15 and 20-year-olds would have looked at that and blamed him. They wouldnt have voted for another Republican for 40 years. If theres a silver lining in any of this, thats it.
Aquila took on a pivotal role in supporting local candidates in the months leading up to the election whether it was giving microphone time to Jeff Denham and Ricky Gill so they could make their plea about how theyd shake-up congress or bringing in Diane Feinstein opponent Elizabeth Emkin to talk about how to oust the four-term Senate staple.
But what he talked about Thursday focused more on how Obama is able to operate with impunity and how Communist ideals have penetrated and even taken over some liberal platforms working from within the government to let the diseased ideas take hold.
The Communists are succeeding with the Democratic Party, he said. The Democratic Party of your parents and your grandparents is not the same as the one we see today. Theyre embedding themselves into the system because they know they could never overcome our military.
He makes no qualms about his political affiliation, but pointed out that both sides of the political spectrum have their glaring weaknesses and its grassroots movements that will truly leave their mark on the system.
I believe that the Democrats are leading this country to a quick death, he said. But I also believe that the Republicans are leading this country to a slow death. Its the Tea Party thats believes in liberty and is willing to stand up and save America.
I think that its shameful that we have a vice-president that would call patriotic Americans terrorists. They dont even call terrorists terrorists. If you commit an act of terror in this country its a man made disaster. Thats just wrong.
I couldn’t agree more...I’ve been saying basically the same thing for over a decade now. IMHO the Constitution’s only hope for reinstatement requires this very collapse.
I’ve been saying the same myself. At best Romney could have managed the collapse a bit better but the collapse is coming no matter what. Frankly it needs to for us to have a remote chance of regaining our country.
I gotta admit, the guys hitting on all eight cylinders. Too bad it’s come down to this.
Obama pulled the pin and tried to toss the grenade to Romney but it bounced off, now its laying at Obama’s feet and he’s frozen with fear.
Let me ax you a question... are you saying...
Obama has already destroyed the economy and it's already done but the crying?
He tried to throw the election so Romney could get credit for the calamity yet to come, probably in 2013...
But Romney did a better job of throwing the election and now Barry's stuck with the crash and burn happening on his watch?
Or am I just totally not understanding and you're saying something else entirely?
Again, that's a question.
Ditto for us. We hope the collapse happens as quickly as possible. Its the only way we are going wrest control of the country back. The ballot box is not working.

No I’m not saying Romney threw the election. Individual candidates pretty much always want to win but I’m not sure the party as a whole wanted to win.
Poor ol' Mittster was the chump, IOW...
He is right. The Progressive movement with its cronyism is killing the US.
It could be that the so-called GOP-e has one thing and only thing only on its mind. That is Jebbie 2016, and Mitt was just in the way.
It was a truly bizarre election.
Here in Michigan Pete Hoekstra ran an inexplicably bland campaign for the tough experienced politician he is. He lost in a near 60/40 split to Debbie Stabenow who in turn took 117,000 more votes in Michigan than Obama did.
Meanwhile we crushed two horrible power grabbing pro union ballot proposals and held all of the congressional districts and even flipped McCotters former moderate leaning district to a tea party backed candidate.
God in heaven forbid it.
Well, could the collapse wait until I sell my house please?

Agreed. I think that a collapse would shock people back into reality. Not the Amish or the Far left or the idiot
hipster kids who would never vote Republican anyway, but
it would shock those in the Republican base who sat out this
election into never doing that again.
Then again, if Romney had won, a collapse might have come
anyway... who knows? At least Ozero will fully own it. And
he will definitely hasten its coming. Hopefully he will be
in Impeachment proces by then over Benghazi or Furious.
If it hits with full SHTF consequences, I hope for a
Military Junta for 3 to 6 months to quell the Amish riots,
with help from NG and local militias. Then new elections.

Hehe... somebody needs to do an illustration of that.
Hilarious.
Baloney!
The last election was a failure, because we ran irrelevant and silly candidates.
Next race will be serious. Palin. Bush. And about 10 other serious candidates.
For real. Start now.
“Next race will be serious. Palin. Bush. And about 10 other serious candidates.”
You live in a dream world. If you think the MSM was tough on Mitt try and run Palin or Bush. Can you say suicide?
