You (by jumping in) and that other poster are the ones who claimed “Free Republic is supporting Newt Gingrich.”
The “edifying” link you sent me does not support that sweeping claim, for the reasons I already set out in detail to you.

P.S. Not to be rude or anything, but it’s a little lame to post a link to someone else’s comment for the purpose of “proving” that “Free Republic supports Newt Gingrich,” then refusing to explain why or how you thought the comment you linked to “proved” your point.
If you don’t know or are not sure what the owner was talking about when he made his comment, I think it’d be wise not to try to use his words, basically, as your own reply.
